The Swarm has arrived!!!

Thousands of enemies! One very bad day at work!

Today we’re finally ready to show one of the biggest things we’ve been working on for DarkSwarm: our new swarm technology.

DarkSwarm has always been about fighting overwhelming numbers of enemies together as a squad. But we wanted to push that idea much further.

Now we can bring thousands of enemies to the screen at once.

And yes, they are all coming for you!

Thousands of Enemies. One Battlefield

This isn’t just about putting more enemies on screen. The new swarm system changes the scale and intensity of combat throughout DarkSwarm.

You’ll see enemies flooding through corridors, surrounding your squad, pouring into open areas and forcing you to constantly reposition, coordinate and watch your fire.

Combined with our procedurally generated missions, four distinct classes and friendly fire, it creates exactly the kind of chaotic tactical co-op experience we’ve been working towards.

And there’s more coming

We’ve already held three Closed Alphas, and thousands of players have helped us shape DarkSwarm along the way.

Today we can also confirm that our next Closed Alpha begins November 3, 2026.

We’re also getting closer to the next big milestone. We’ll reveal the exact Early Access release date at a later point, but you can expect DarkSwarm to launch into Early Access in early 2027.

And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who has wishlisted DarkSwarm so far. Your support means a lot to the entire team, and we genuinely can’t wait to finally put the full DarkSwarm experience in your hands.

There’s still more to show before then. For now, take a look at the trailer.
